Calculator Help for Calculus
It is important to become familiar with your calculator prior to the AP Exam. The AP Exam is a timed test and you will not have time to learn how to use your calculator then. Keep in mind that you are allowed to have Two Calculators on the calculator active portion of your Exam. I recommend that you use your TI-83/84 for the simpler operations and your TI-89 or TI-Nspire CAS for the more complex operations.
You are also allowed to have programs installed on your calculator. I recommend that you have the most up-to-date Operating System installed. For the TI-89 update here and for the TI-Nspire Cas update here. You can find all kinds of helpful program to install on your device. For starters you can look here for the TI-89.
Note: Programs are not needed to score well on the AP Exam!
